Pascal Wild paints modern man as a child who never stopped looking at the world with wide eyes — curious, unprepared, and always one step too far gone. In Wild's cosmos, hedonism is not a stance — it's a trap. His figure doesn't consciously tumble into excess; it gets pulled in, because life is simply more seductive than the task at hand. The Augean stables are waiting. But there's a party next door. And so the hero stands there, watches, and can't quite say when he lost control.
